Getting Started

1. Creating Your Account

  • Go to the Leasense app and click Sign Up.
  • Enter your email, create a password, and follow the prompts.
  • Check your email for a confirmation link and click it to activate your account.

2. Logging In

  • Visit the Leasense app login page.
  • Enter your email and password.
  • Click Log In to access your dashboard.

Managing Properties

1. Add a Property with AI (Recommended)

  • Go to Properties in the sidebar.
  • Click Add Property.
  • Select Upload Lease Document.
  • Upload your lease file (PDF, DOCX, etc.).
  • Our AI will automatically extract and fill in property details, tenant information, payment terms, and lease dates.
  • Review the extracted information and make any edits needed.
  • Click Save to create the property, tenant, and payment records all at once.

2. Add a Property Manually

  • From the dashboard, click Properties in the sidebar.
  • Click Add Property.
  • Select Enter Details Manually.
  • Fill in the property details (address, type, etc.).
  • Click Save.

3. Edit or Delete a Property

  • Go to Properties.
  • Click on the property you want to edit or delete.
  • Use the Edit or Delete buttons as needed.

Managing Leases

1. Upload a Lease Document

  • Go to Leases in the sidebar.
  • Click Upload Lease.
  • Select your lease file (PDF, DOCX, etc.).
  • Fill in any required details and click Upload.

2. View or Download Lease Documents

  • In Leases, click on a lease to view details.
  • Use the Download button to save a copy.

Managing Tenants

1. Add a Tenant

  • Go to Tenants.
  • Click Add Tenant.
  • Enter tenant details (name, email, etc.).
  • Click Invite to send them an invitation.

2. View Tenant Info

  • Click on a tenant's name in the Tenants list to see their details, documents, and payment status.

Collecting Rent & Payments

1. Set Up Rent Collection

  • Go to Payments.
  • Click Set Up Rent Collection.
  • Enter payment details and link your Stripe account if prompted.
  • Assign the payment to a property and tenant.

2. Track Payments

  • In Payments, view the status of all rent and other payments.
  • Click on a payment to see more details or download receipts.

Maintenance Requests

1. Submit a Maintenance Request

  • Go to Maintenance.
  • Click Create Request.
  • Fill in the issue details and attach photos if needed.
  • Click Submit.

2. Track Maintenance Status

  • All requests are listed in Maintenance.
  • Click on a request to see updates and status.

Reports & Analytics

1. View Financial Reports

  • Go to Reports.
  • Select the report type (e.g., Income, Expenses, Occupancy).
  • Filter by date or property as needed.
  • Download or print reports for your records.

Account & Settings

1. Update Profile or Company Info

  • Click your profile icon in the top right.
  • Select Settings.
  • Update your personal or company details and save changes.

2. Change Password or Email

  • In Settings, go to Security.
  • Follow the prompts to update your password or email address.

3. Delete Your Account

  • In Settings, scroll to Delete Account.
  • Follow the instructions to permanently delete your account and data.
